DIY Candle Wax Tarts

What do you do with your candle once you’ve burned the entire thing? I know a lot of us reuse the jars, but what about the wax? Well, I have uploaded a new YouTube video that will show you how to upcycle the leftover candle wax. No lie guys, these little tarts will light your house up. They put off such a powerful aroma. I hope you enjoy the video, and please let me know if you make them!

How to Transform Cheap Art

Gallery Wall3 edited12
Have you ever been to one of these cheapie little dollar stores and see a piece of art that is kinda cute? That’s what happened to me one day while in a store called Maxway. I’m not sure if they’re all over the U.S., but they are in Florida. I stop in from time to time, just to see what they have. I fell in love with this leopard canvas print. The only thing is that it had this extremely shiny clear coat over the top of it. That made it look so cheap! But, I still loved it. I put it in my cart, and continued to walk around a bit. The entire time, I was trying to think how in the world I could transform this piece to make it look “expensive”. Then a light bulb went off! I could spray paint it, then rough it up a bit with a little sandpaper. If my plan failed, it was only $9.Continue Reading

Bud Light Lime Rita Hour!

This post was sponsored by Anheuser Busch. Although the post is sponsored, all opinions are my own.

DIY Pallet Furniture (Picture Heavy)

DIY Pallet Furniture Before After
Here is my long-awaited pallet furniture tutorial! I’m not going to talk too much because I have A LOT of pictures to show you guys!

First, we started with a stack of pallets. I think we purchased 15 and they were $2 each (I ended up only needing about 6 of them). The initial plan was to make a back to the benches, but after looking at the patio, we didn’t think that was feasible. The back would have ended up leaning against the screen, maybe causing it to tear. Continue Reading
