Hola! Hope everyone is doing well. I won’t make up any excuses this time, because I really don’t have any. I would like to say that I really appreciate all of you who have stuck by me through this unplanned blogging hiatus. I have been active on Instagram and Facebook, so be sure to follow me there. Let’s get to this DIY project!
If you don’t know by now, I’m giving my patio a much needed makeover. BUT, I refuse to spend a lot of money on furniture and decor that will be primarily in the sun all day. I live in Florida and it gets extremely hot here. No patio furniture is safe in Florida. I have a lot of projects and makeovers coming your way. I plan to show you each DIY that we did for this patio makeover. Just like my last blog post, this is another simple and easy one to do. All that is required is an old or inexpensive planter, painter’s tape, and spray paint. It can’t get much simpler than that.
I found this planter at Wally World for $5. It’s just your basic black planter. It came in several colors, but I chose black.
Next, I taped off my design and began spray painting.
I initially painted both stripes white, so that when I go over the top stripe with the gold paint, it will be really opaque.
And there you have it, folks! Another, simple, yet pretty makeover.
