Hey Loves! I received these super cute shoes, handbag, bracelets, and fabulous shades from the folks over at Marshalls. They also sent over an ultra chic sheath dress, but it was too big for me….sigh! So, I improvised and paired clothes from my own wardrobe with their accessories! You would never believe how much these pieces cost. Never pay full price for the fabulous!Continue Reading
Hey Loves! Dropping by very quickly before I head in to work. Hope you all have been doing well. Me on the other hand, I’ve been okay. Life could be a whole lot better for me. But I digress…….
Anyhoo, I’m LOVING these yarn wraps that the Sweety helped me with. It took us a few days but we got them done. I have been wanting some type of protective style so that my hair will grow & I wouldn’t keep manipulating it. I previously had Continue Reading
These pictures are so long overdue. They are actually from my birthday weekend…which was way back in February! Some friends, my Sweety, and I went to dinner to celebrate my birthday. We had such a good time. I think I laughed all night long!Continue Reading
Hey Loves! So the birthday celebrations are over for me. I’m now back to reality. I did, however, enjoy my day (s). I celebrated with those who are closest to me…including my adorable little nephew. (see below.) Continue Reading
Good Morning! Its Monday….again. I think the weekends are only meant to tease us cause they just roll by too fast. I’m not complaining this Monday though, because its only 2 days before my birthday! I have no idea why I’m super excited about my birthday this year. I have no plans to go anywhere. I really don’t have anything to do. I was going to go to Vegas, but changed my mind. This is a special bithday for me because I’m turning the big 35. I was so scared to turn 30, now I’m turning Continue Reading
Hey Loves! I am loving this bun so much better than the 1st one. I used the Marley hair this time around. I wanted this hair the 1st time, but didn’t feel like going to the beauty supply store. Doing my hair this time was such a breeze because I knew what to expect. I few of you have asked for a tutorial on the other style, and I will do one Continue Reading
It’s Thursday, Valentine’s Day!!!!! I want to wish you all a very Happy Heart Day! Even if you don’t have a significant other, you should still make the best of it. Buy yourself something…… HUMPH! I know I would!
Anyway, as I was editing these pics, I was wondering why on earth I never wore this blazer. It is just too darn cute! It’s a great cut & the pattern is amazing. I have entirely too many blazers that Continue Reading
So…….I’m super excited because I am finally able to get my hair in a ponytail! I was struggling with this hair on Sunday, yall. I washed & conditioned it….easy. But, I was trying to do some type of updo thingy, and could not braid the back of my own hair for the style. I got so frustrated that I almost cried (I know, TMI). But sometimes, you just get like that when things aren’t Continue Reading
I always try to be nice to people. I strive to be kind-hearted, and treat people the way I want to be treated. Anytime I’m around people, I always try to smile & look approachable. If I see an elderly person or a mother with kids struggling to get their groceries in the car, I always try to help. I try to remain polite & respectful to anyone I’m around. It just seems like the nicer you are, that feeling radiates, and people you’re around start to act the same. I love doing random acts of kindness. It makes me feel so much better inside. This year, I plan to do so much more in my community. I’ve wanted to feed the homeless for years, but never followed through with my plans. Giving back doesn’t necessarily mean giving money. Time is so much more valuable. Whether that means mentoring a troubled teenager or spending time at nursing homes with people whose family doesn’t visit them. I feel that I’ve been blessed so much that there is no excuse not to give back & pay it forward.

Let me tell you what I hate. I hate when you buy a pair of over the knee boots & they fit perfectly in the store. Well, when you decide to wear them, they still look good on you. As the day progresses, you notice that you have to keep pulling & tugging on them to keep them up. At this point, you’re really really frustrated because they didn’t Continue Reading
