Welcome back! Today, I thought I’d share 2 thrifted pieces that I feel you can wear year round. Of course, it’s currently fall, which means I’ll be rocking them now. These pieces are super versatile, and I’ve also been able to sport them during the spring & summer.
First up is this white button down. Now this is not
your typical white button down. This baby has a freakin cactus-y desert theme on the upper left side. It is soooo cute! Initially, I paired it with a pair of distressed denim cut offs, and a western – style belt. I kept the accessories to a minimal since this is a really laid back look.
When I wore it for the 2nd time, I paired it with this gorgeous coral skirt. If you guys follow me on YouTube, then you would have seen this piece in a thrift haul that I filmed with the Wife. If you saw that video, then you know this skirt is a tad too small in the waist. My plan is to eventually have a small piece of elastic added to expand the waistline.
I paired the white button down & coral skirt combo with a pair of $2 Express heels, which I thrifted BRAND NEW, btw! The only thing that was wrong with the heels is that they were missing the laces. What a simple fix, and they paired perfectly with the outfit. I love that they also have trees on them which tie in with the cactus-y theme.
The coral skirt is acutally my 2nd thrifted item that I’m featuring today. Since the skirt barely fastens, I thought I’d pair it under something. That way, I don’t have to worry about trying to fasten it and squeeze every organ below my waist. The struggle is definitely real!
I thought I’d pair the coral skirt under a dress. I was going for the tiered look. I would have loved to have worn 1 more skirt in between the two, just so that I could have 3 layers. The sheer cream dress is yet another thrift find. This one was less than $1. I got it in a bag of 15 items for $3. That makes it around 20 cents. It does come with a detachable silk slip, which allows me to wear the dress on it’s own. I threw on a pair of thrifted snake print heels & cream/gold belt to complete the outfit. I absolutely LOVED how this look came together. Can you believe everything is thrifted & under $6?
What pieces have you guys thrifted for the fall? Do share!
