Paying it Forward

Just a few things you probably don’t know about me……..

I always try to be nice to people. I strive to be kind-hearted, and treat people the way I want to be treated. Anytime I’m around people, I always try to smile & look approachable. If I see an elderly person or a mother with kids struggling to get their groceries in the car, I always try to help. I try to remain polite & respectful to anyone I’m around. It just seems like the nicer you are, that feeling radiates, and people you’re around start to act the same. I love doing random acts of kindness. It  makes me feel so much better inside. This  year, I plan to do so much more in my community. I’ve wanted to feed the homeless for years, but never followed through with my plans. Giving back doesn’t necessarily mean giving money. Time is so much more valuable. Whether that means mentoring a troubled teenager or spending time at nursing homes with people whose family doesn’t visit them. I feel that I’ve been blessed so much that there is no excuse not to give back & pay it forward.
