Hi Loves! This weekend was a bit different. I was bored with the same weekend routine, which normally consists of: doing my hair, painting my nails/toes, sitting at home watching movies with my family, etc. So my Sweety and I decided to take a small getaway, but not out of town. We got a hotel room downtown on the water. We took a nice little stroll while looking at all of the boats dock. You know, sometimes you have to break the monotony of your relationship & do something spontaneous & different. We had thai food for dinner on Saturday night, because its a new favorite of mine. On Sunday we did some shopping at the local outlets & ate at Jason’s Deli for lunch. What do you & your hubbies (or significant others) do to spice up your relationship?
Shirt: Sears,Shoes: Steve Madden, Culottes & Purse: Thrifted, Earrings: Forever21, Belt: Old Navy
We actually have date night. We absolutely make the time for each other, whether it’s a quick trip
to Chicago or an afternoon wine tasting, it’s an absolute MUST. Sometimes I will buy Mr. Parks something he loves like Magnum icecream bars (his fave) sometimes it’s just the little things with no real reason behind them, that keep that flame lit. http://www.localcelebz.blogspot.com
That is so sweet Prissy! I was just telling my husband that we need to getaway somewhere. We couldn’t go alone though, my son won’t stay with anyone. You look relaxed and happy in these pictures.
Prissy, you look adorable and relaxed! Sounds like the perfect mini getaway to me 🙂
Usually the hubs and I might do a random movie night instead of the regimented fri or sat night and order from a “mom&pop” restaurant. Or we might take a drive somewhere just for “GP” lol! You have to keep it spicy hunny ;)!
i love your shoes in this post! haha, I just commented on Rocquelle’s post from today and said the same thing :). Jeremy and I got in the car a couple weekends ago and just drove until we figured out what we wanted to do. We ended up at a waterfall, and then grabbing food to go n the way home – it was one of the best days I’ve had in a long time.
You look so cute and relaxed…the pants are awesome and so are the shoes!!
“Couple” time is sooooo important…we have few stolen moments but they are always enjoyable!
LURV those culottes!!! Your hair is so pretty, thick, and black! Looks like somebody poured tar over your head and it just froze in a fly position… u know what I mean LOL
Geeesh where do I begin…let’s just say being married for 16yrs a girl has to know a thing a two about spontaneity…lol Love the mini getaway and lovin’ the print bottoms and the belt is the perfect juxtaposition;) http://www.swoonblog.com
Date night is the absolute best. We try and do it at least once a week, even if it means staying up and watching a movie after the baby has gone to bed.
Oh my Ms. Prissy those pants, the whole combo! You look lovely! Thank u for ur wonderful comments lately, I love your style and effortless confidence to wear what you love 🙂 Going to follow you via bloglovin 🙂

Love this outfit Prissy!! The culottes are too cute!!
Well I don’t currently have a boo, but I do understand the importance of keeping the relationship exciting and doing spontaneous things, especially if you have been together for a while. You can settle into a routine because it’s comfortable and familiar, but it can get old and boring so it’s good to switch it up!
