That 70’s Show

I immediately thought 70’s when I uploaded these pictures. I also thought how much I hate the fit of these pants. I bought them last weekend at Forever 21. I have been on the hunt since last winter for THE perfect pair of flares, and still haven’t found them. The fit of these is just OK, but the length is killing me. I guess I am just too, too tall (with heels on).  They are a 34 length, so I’m not sure why they aren’t long enough. I ordered 2 pair online from Old Navy, hopefully they will be here this week. I’m crossing my fingers that they fit perfectly.

The Sweets & I had lunch at Jason’s Deli on Saturday. I was in the mood for a sandwich. I get like that sometimes. We’d never eaten here before, but it was so good. We always get something different & share. We ordered a club sandwich on a croissant roll, a small cup of seafood gumbo, and a baked potato loaded with pot roast, onions, bell peppers, and provolone cheese. Aren’t these potatoes gigantic???

I hope everyone enjoyed their weekend. If you haven’t done so already, don’t forget to enter my giveaway!

Talk to you soon,

Love this look, we have the same shirt! You should try the Express Jean Editor Original . I am a shorty…5’5″ and with a typical 4 inch heel the Editor falls perfectly. When I wear my flares/wide legs I like for my shoes to be covered completely.

  31. I’ve just been reading a book set mainly in the 70s. The author constantly writes about the girls’ low-riding flares, tight on their thighs, worn with tight sweaters and leather jackets. Guess what I’ve been in the mood to wear now too? Wish fall time would hurry! In the mean time, I’m looking for the perfect pair of flares too!

  32. Tosh says:

I love this look hun! Those jeans are superb on you :-) Congrats on your SP feature!
